Experience That Shapes the Process

Before launching Blackbird, I led multimillion dollar projects as a senior project manager, overseeing complex scopes, substantial budgets, and cross functional teams. The work required precision, accountability, and structured execution at a high level.

Beyond managing projects, I built and implemented a formal project management program designed to train and guide other project managers. That framework emphasized structure, documentation, communication standards, and measurable accountability.

At the same time, I was renovating residential properties through my own contracting company, leading projects from initial concept through final installation. This is not theoretical experience. It is hands on execution.

In just the past two years alone, we have completed 19 kitchen renovations, 38 bathroom renovations, and 18 full home renovations. Delivering that level of production requires disciplined scheduling, financial oversight, trade coordination, and consistent craftsmanship across every phase of work.

Beyond large scale renovations, I have designed and built a wide range of custom woodworking and architectural projects, including built ins, feature walls, detailed millwork, and one of a kind installations.
